According to the calendar, spring has started for a while now. However, the real beginning of the season is attached to constellations and their positions and is dated to the 20th March - this is what we call astronomical spring. Trousers become thinner, skirts become shorter, and starry nights become longer. This is what inspired our designer YUAN, when she created her limited collection.
“The Starry Night” aligns skirts that swing like a bell and reflect the sky. One of our favourites is this A-line one - it is decorated with popular galaxy print, however in a more abstract way. The unique representation of the pattern and the peculiar cut result in a fresh spring design, which is certainly unique in this season.
For those who prefer plain tones when it comes to skirts, YUAN offers a more simple but charmingly elegant vintage look piece in the collection - it inspired On Slowness Founder Pink to revive the famous movie Mary Poppins.
To keep the focus point on the galaxy skirt, Pink wore a neutral coloured, hand-knitted jumper with it. Knitwears are easily matchable, feminine and still very trendy. The feminine side is also emphasised by the blue tights and the black heel boots.
The thick brown belt tied around the waist is not only a stylish accessory, but a beneficial fashion element that - together with the jumper - diverts attention to the lower part of the outfit.
A wise choice of jewellery helps to keep the healthy balance of clothes and accessories - Pink picked these asymmetrical silvery earrings from Lion Studio, that resemble to the Moon and have a silvery shine, thus suit the galaxy theme.
The sky and the stars can be closer to you than ever: stay tuned for the rest of the Starry Night collection!
