Cinematic atmosphere, picturesque environment - this was the theme we imagined for our latest photo shooting on designer YUAN’s autumn winter collection. The first setting was in Victoria park, which have changed its greenery into beautiful autumn colours to let us capture movie scene inspired images.
The choice of the venue, the dresses we picked and the pure, yellowish tones evoke Virgin Suicides - one of the favourite movies of our photographer Chiara. Her way of capturing these images is not related to the story, but to the visual representation of the movie.
The dreamy atmosphere lovingly highlights YUANs’ Flower embellished wool coat and the White Cuff Link Dress. Neutral colours, the closeness of the nature and the graceful elegance of these designer pieces resulted in a poetic, solemn yet romantic series of images.
Victoria Park is the biggest park in East London and the oldest one in the city. With its two ponds and rich greenery, one can see squirrels and ducks while walking around admiring the wonderful landscape. The park also displays a Chinese Pagoda which was originally an entrance to the Chinese Exhibit in the London Parks in 1842 and was rebuilt in 2010.
If one has not been there yet, last weeks of November give perfect occasions for a visit to Victoria Park, to catch the last moments of the natures’ transformation of autumn.
