About the brand
Cristobal's costume jewellery legacy began in the late 1980s at 32 Queen Anne Street, London. The brand was officially registered in May 2000 and ceased in 2010. Despite its brief existence, Cristobal jewellery is highly coveted, earning a place in Judith Miller's vintage costume jewellery reference book in 2004.
Renowned for four notable collections – The Butterfly, The Secret Garden, The London (earrings and necklaces), and The Christmas Collection – Cristobal London used Austrian crystals, combining them with gold plating, frosted plastic, art glass, multi-colour rhinestones, and Swarovski crystals. The distinct oval cartouche marking bears the signature "Cristobal London" in stylised script, symbolising a legacy of timeless elegance and craftsmanship.
