A striking statement piece from Christian Dior’s Spring/Summer 1999 collection, designed by John Galliano, this gold-tone choker features three intricately engraved circular medallions linked by textured chains.

Inspired by the military uniforms of Communist China and the revolutionary aesthetics of Russian Constructivism, Galliano incorporated bold colours, gold accents and military-inspired details throughout the collection.

The distinctive circular medallion motif was prominently featured on the runway, adorning jackets and dresses as oversized decorative accents (see last 3 photos).
